The Office of Veteran Affairs promotes education opportunities to community members who are eligible for Veteran education benefits and provides support, guidance and a variety of services and programs to students attending South Texas College who are using educational benefits under the Department of Veteran Affairs Educational Assistance Programs.
Services Include
Assisting students and potential students who are eligible to receive Veterans education benefits in completing required paperwork, including the disability application process.
Provide guidance and support to the STC Student Veterans Association.
Make referrals to supportive Veteran Organizations, such as the VA Clinic, Veterans Center, Veterans Commission, Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, etc.
