The Advising Department assists future and current students with occupational choices, career development, decision-making, and academic and personal adjustment difficulties. Advisors are available by appointment.

Academic success includes understanding the connections between a degree plan and your academic and career aspirations. Accomplishing your short-term and long-term goals will depend on your connections to STC, your motivation, and your persistence. Advisors serve as your liaisons between STC, your Instructional Division, and Student Affairs. Advisors can assist you by suggesting course selection for each semester, by preparing academic timelines, and by making periodic checks of your course to degree completion.
